I had the pleasure of teaching Boris Stone 5 years ago the Premier Training Ltd. Advanced Personal Training qualification.
As programme director my aim was to develop a course that enabled the personal trainer to understand human movement and develop a corrective strategy based a series of assessments.
These assessments included:
Observational postural assessment
Range of motion assessments
Dynamic movement pattern assessment
from this understanding I developed a conditioning paradigm that encompassed the key movement patterns (push, pull, 1 leg, squat, bend and rotate) taking the client from postural correction, through stability and onto power (as all human movement involves an element of power).
Since the course Boris has been working successfully with clients taking them through their structural assessment and prescribing effective conditioning programmes based upon there dysfunction.

I have used Boris for some personal training at his gmn - he is really good at motivating you and the exercise is never boring - he uses lots of different equipment and techniques - so using ‘exercise is boring’ as an excuse is not an issue with Boris. Attended a Bonnington Boot Camp with Boris & it was a fantastic 4 day training programme. Have come away from the camp with lots of new ideas and have learnt about fitness/diet/flexibility specific to my individual needs.
